Queensland event for PST, new, returning to the classroom and teaching out of field teachers

A welcome event for PST (FREE for QAMT/STAQ pre service teacher members), first and second year teachers, those returning to the classroom or those teaching out of field including some effective teaching ideas & activities for you to use in your classroom presented by experienced teachers. The Global Change Institute – Lv 3, Bldg 20, The University of Queensland, St Lucia or via Zoom (TBC) Light Refreshments (Foyer 20-277)

4.15pm: Registration opens – register here 

4.30pm: Light refreshments and Presidents’ introduction

5.00pm: Split into Primary/Middle & Secondary groups for 3x 35 minute sessions

7.00pm: Q&A – ask new to teaching & experienced teachers questions, including 2022 Prime Minister’s Primary Prize recipient Megan Hayes

7.45pm: Finish & Lucky Door Prize Draw plus a small general meeting.

Secondary teachers should bring scientific/graphic calculators &/or laptops

Participation Certificates recognised by QCoT and AITSL will be issued a few weeks following the event.
